Quixotic Bravado

• Totally being tourists at this point: Hollywood sign, Bev Hills, studios. Santa Monica next.
• hit the pier; at in-n-out burger now. It makes me sad we don’t have in-out on the east coast.
• LAX is a zoo! Finally through security; having drinks near the gate and settled in for the long wait.
• …and just like that, *poof* off on the next part of the adventure.

• Just landed at LAX. Tacos and a trip to Santa Monica with the Loco Bandits.
• Looking up things to do in LA today. Departure time tonight in limbo.
• Welcome to Wally World. Looking for security guard to force on the rides.

• sitting in Philly airport marveling at all of the pockets on my new packpack.
• Next stop: Los Angeles!
• on time departure: fail! Connecting flight: at risk.
• Mad dash through Midway to make connection. We love you Chicago, but gotta move on.
• LA people: Have a free day in LA. Need suggestions on what to do! Difficulty: back at airport by 7ish.
• Free day Saturday that is.
• Either I broke mobile @twitter site or @chipd did. Nasty error on top of page and page stops at first @chipd tweet.

• Today’s theme: Travel prep.

• Helping Ant acclimate to the world of Twitter, Feed Readers and getting mobile versions on the iPod Touch.
• Accepted the fact that the HD-DVD drive on my 360 will be paperweight soon. Netflix is the hero here: I only bought 3 discs; no huge loss.
• BTW: I agree it’s not a Blu-Ray "win," it’s a stay of execution until downloading takes over.
